Do you have to be in law enforcement to fish Lawman’s Bass Club?
No, the club is open to the public. You must fill out the forms and attend our club meeting and the board of directors will vote on your membership.
What does it cost to fish Lawman’s Bass Club tournaments?
$150.00 for a 2 man team and $75.00 for a 1 man team. Money from the tournament fees include the big fish pot and the 5 lb. pot.
What are the tournament hours?
Most tournaments are from safe-light to 3 pm. (Varies during January & February tournaments due to cold weather.) In the summer, the tournaments will either be early morning 5:00 am to 1:00 pm or from 4:00 pm to Midnight this varies according to the tournament committee’s selection.
What about 2 day tournaments?
​Usually, on day two of a two-day tournament, we fish until 1:00 pm to allow attendees to travel home safely.
Do you have to fish every tournament to qualify for championship points?
You don’t have to fish every event to qualify for end of year championship points. You have one throw-out to help with absences or off days.
Do you have to attend monthly meetings?
You do not have to attend the monthly meetings to fish, but it is strongly encouraged to participate in the club activities. You also get 5 points for attending meetings that is applied to your overall points for the year. You also get to draw in the first drawing for starting positions.
How can I pay for the tournaments?
You can pay in cash or check. You must pay at the meeting prior to the tournament or you can pay by mail a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tournament. All tournament forms must accompany your payment.
What is annual membership?
Annual Membership is $50 per member unless you attend the first tournament meeting of the year and then it is reduced to $40.00 at that meeting only.
How many boats attend each event?
That varies but we normally average 20 boats per event.
